Bethesda, MD – October 25, 2016 – Generali Global Assistance (“GGA” or “the Company”), a leader in the assistance industry since its founding in 1963 and part of the multinational Generali Group, today announced that its Identity and Digital Protection Services business unit was named the winner of a Gold Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year in the Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations & Business Services category at the 13th Annual International Business Awards. This is the second Stevie Award that the Company has won in 2016 alone, having also been the recipient of a Silver Stevie Award for Customer Service Team of the Year – Business Services at the American Business Awards earlier this year. GGA has been the recipient of at least one Stevie award for various customer service categories for four consecutive years.
Generali Global Assistance, one of the first providers of identity protection services in the United States, has maintained a deep commitment to client services since its founding in 1963. The Company’s recently launched Iris OnWatch identity protection platform, which provides 360° identity theft prevention, monitoring, alerts and resolution services, furthers this customer-centric approach. The industry-leading resolution services offered through Iris are led by GGA’s world-class team of identity theft experts, who provide around-the-clock, white glove services to protect customers’ identities and to restore their critical assets should theft occur. This award-winning team assists customers who have been victims of identity theft in a wide variety of ways, including coordination with IRS identity theft services, affidavit submission, creditor notification and follow-up, and more.
Paige Schaffer, President and COO of Generali Global Assistance’s Identity and Digital Protection Services Global Unit, commented on today’s news, “We are immensely proud to have once again been recognized for our utmost commitment to customer service through the receipt of our second Stevie Award in 2016. I would like to thank our identity protection team for their best-in-class performance in comprehensively protecting our customers from fraud and for the human touch that they provide to identity theft resolution. With the recent launch of our Iris OnWatch platform and other initiatives, we remain focused on continually improving customer satisfaction and mitigating financial and emotional issues stemming from identity theft. We believe that Iris is the most comprehensive solution available to protect against identity theft and resolve issues should theft or fraud occur, and our ongoing success would not have been possible without the outstanding efforts of our expert team.”
