Company’s fifth consecutive Stevie Awards win demonstrates commitment to client service, marketing innovation and consumer education

New York, NY, June 22, 2017Generali Global Assistance (“the Company”), a leader in the assistance industry since its founding in 1963 and part of the global Generali Group, today announced that it has been awarded three Stevie Awards at the 15th Annual American Business Awards.  The Company’s Identity and Digital Protection Services Global Unit received a Gold and Bronze Stevie Award, and its Travel Insurance business line won a Bronze award.  Generali Global Assistance has been the recipient of at least one Stevie Award across multiple categories for five consecutive years.

Chris Carnicelli, CEO of Generali Global Assistance North America, commented on today’s news, “Congratulations to both our Identity and Digital Protection Services and Travel Insurance teams for their tireless efforts in providing outstanding customer service and educational content to our partners, and the industry at large.  I am very proud to lead such a dedicated group of individuals who continually produce programs and campaigns at the highest level.”

Generali Global Assistance’s Identity and Digital Protection Services Global Unit, the developer of a proprietary and innovative identity protection platform, received a Gold Stevie Award in the Customer Service Team of the Year category, as well as a Bronze Stevie Award in the Small-Budget Marketing Campaign of the Year category.  As one of the first providers of identity protection services in the United States, the Company has maintained a deep commitment to client services and marketing innovation.  Generali Global Assistance’s industry-leading resolution services are spearheaded by a world-class team of identity theft experts, who provide around-the-clock, white glove services to protect customers’ identities and to restore their critical assets should theft occur.

Paige Schaffer, President and COO of Generali Global Assistance’s Identity and Digital Protection Services Global Unit, commented on today’s news, “I am immensely proud of both our Customer Service and Marketing teams, without whose hard work and dedication winning these Stevie Awards would not have been possible.  As evidenced by the recent launch of our identity protection platform in Canada, we remain focused on continually improving customer satisfaction and mitigating financial and emotional issues stemming from identity theft.  I would like to thank our identity protection team for their best-in-class performance in comprehensively protecting our customers from fraud and for the human touch that they provide to identity theft resolution.”

Generali Global Assistance’s Travel Insurance division, formerly CSA Travel Protection, received a Bronze Stevie Award for Educational and Engaging Travel Insurance Videos in the Travel & Tourism category.  A leading provider of travel insurance, the Company developed four videos as resources for its sales team to help educate consumers and potential customers, particularly Online Travel Agents, about travel insurance products.  These videos illustrate Generali Global Assistance’s comprehensive, global servicing and administering capabilities for travel insurance, as well as emergency assistance solutions.  The Company offers a full suite of innovative, vertically integrated travel insurance products and assistance services that protect consumers against the risks associated with travel and help resolve issues that may arise.

Bob Chambers, Vice President of Operations at CSA Travel Protection, concluded, “I would like to congratulate and thank our in-house Marketing, Web Design, and Creative teams for working collaboratively and creatively to develop educational resources designed to inform consumers about the importance of travel insurance.  This is a prime example of our companywide commitment to going above and beyond in our service to customers, and the general public, and demonstrates our intrinsic organizational values.  Generali Global Assistance has long been recognized for its uncompromising dedication to ensuring peace of mind for our customers, and our fifth consecutive Stevie Awards win is indicative of the value that we provide.”
